Admissibility of the Anti-Dumping investigation
Convinced of the legitimacy of defending local PVC production in order to build a strong national chemical industry, SNEP asked the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy to reconsider the Anti-dumping duties in effect on imports of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) from the United States of America.
After examining this request, the Minister decided, on December 12, 2018, to initiate an investigation to review the anti-dumping measures in force on imports of PVC expiring on December 26, 2018.
Through this request, SNEP anticipates the re-emergence of dumping and protects itself against the damage that this harmful practice may cause to its activity.
